Alstom/Bombardier Post‑Merger Integration: Nationwide Collective Agreement with IG Metall Secures 12 German Production Sites

"Since Alstom acquired Bombardier’s rail division in 2021, the group has about 10,000 employees in Germany across twelve sites. The law firm Seitz advised Alstom on collective employment law and, after intensive talks with IG Metall, helped secure a nationwide set of collective agreements to protect the German locations and improve competitiveness. Seitz will now support implementation of those agreements and the continued post‑merger integration; the advising team included Dr. Stefan Seitz, Dr. Hannah Krings, Jana Sturme, Dr. Marc Werner and Dr. Shirin Imani."
