Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Issues Up to INR 500 Crore Listed Subordinated Non-Convertible Debentures

Khaitan & Co represented Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited (the Issuer) in relation to the issuance and allotment of listed subordinated non-convertible debentures. The Issuer completed a private placement offering of up to 50,000 listed, rated, unsecured, redeemable, non-convertible, subordinated, fully paid-up debentures aggregating to not more than INR 500 crores. The proceeds of the issue will be utilised for augmenting the Issuer’s regulatory capital in accordance with IRDAI regulations. Trust Investment Advisors Private Limited and Nuvama Wealth Management Limited acted as arrangers to the issue.
