BCLP Advises WiredScore on Sale to Internet Infrastructure Leader Meter, Inc.

"BCLP advised WiredScore, the global certification body for digital connectivity and smart building performance, on its sale to Meter, Inc., a San Francisco–based internet infrastructure provider for enterprises and commercial buildings. BCLP handled the non‑US aspects of the deal alongside US lead counsel Fenwick & West; Meter was represented by Cooley. The firms said the combination will accelerate global adoption of digital building performance standards and help landlords achieve premium rental values. The law firms involved were BCLP, which advised WiredScore on the non‑US aspects of the transaction; Fenwick & West, which acted as US lead counsel for WiredScore; and Cooley, which represented Meter, Inc. on both sides of the Atlantic. The transaction comprised the sale of WiredScore to Meter, Inc., a San Francisco–based provider of internet infrastructure for enterprises and commercial buildings. The combination is intended to accelerate international adoption of best practices in digital building performance, further differentiate modern buildings and support premium rental values for landlords.
