Antares Defence Systems welcomes Hyperion Fund and Operating Partners Group as minority investors

"25 March 2026 — Antares Defence Systems has sold minority stakes to Hyperion Fund and Operating Partners Group, with law firm Marriott Harrison advising on the transaction. Antares, a UK designer and manufacturer of RF power amplifiers and bespoke electronic‑warfare solutions (and a contract electronics manufacturer), said the investors bring sector expertise and capital to support growth in manufacturing and custom engineering. CEO Bruce Fullerton welcomed their market insight and European reach. The Marriott Harrison deal team included Ian Morris, Lisle Gannon, Hermione Buttery, Eesheta Shah and Ed Belam."

Marriott Harrison acted for Antares Defence Systems in a transaction in which minority stakes were acquired by Hyperion Fund and Operating Partners Group. The transaction comprised the sale of minority stakes in Antares Defence Systems to Hyperion Fund and Operating Partners Group. Antares, founded in 2010, is a UK-based designer and manufacturer of radio frequency power amplifiers and bespoke solutions for multi-domain integration electronic warfare environments and also carries out contract electronic manufacturing. The investors bring sector expertise and capital to support Antares’s growth across manufacturing capabilities and the development of its custom engineering solutions. The Marriott Harrison team comprised partner and head of M&A Ian Morris; associate Lisle Gannon; trainee Hermione Buttery; commercial partner Eesheta Shah (commercial practice); and employment legal director Ed Belam (employment).
