"Baker McKenzie’s Singapore member firm Wong & Leow and its Thailand office advised the mandated lead arrangers and original lenders on up to USD 2.3 billion of acquisition financing for Arise Digital Technology Company Limited. The facility funds Arise’s purchase of a 24.95% stake in True Corporation, one of Thailand’s largest listed telecoms. The deal team was led by Emmanuel Hadjidakis and Andrea Ng (Singapore), with support from lawyers in Singapore and Bangkok, and adds to Baker McKenzie’s growing slate of major regional financing mandates."
