Dr. Sebastian Mielke Appointed Restructuring Officer in Self-Administration Proceedings for Social Enterprise Neue Arbeit

"Dr Sebastian Mielke, partner at law firm Menold Bezler, is acting as restructuring officer for social enterprise Neue Arbeit gGmbH and its subsidiary Neue Arbeit Dienstleistungsagentur GmbH in self-administration insolvency proceedings. The companies filed on 12 March 2026 and the Stuttgart Local Court approved self-administration on 16 March 2026; the subsidiaries NintegrA gGmbH and Esslinger-Beschäftigungs-Initiative gGmbH are not affected. Mielke, supported by Melanie Niksic, will work with managing directors Stephan Fritz and Dietmar Meng to pursue an insolvency-plan based, sustainable restructuring to preserve the organisation’s non-profit work. Around 180 employees have wage protection through insolvency benefits for March–May 2026, and the proceedings are expected to conclude in 2026."
