Addleshaw Goddard advises CMAL on strategic acquisition of Ardrossan Harbour from Peel Ports

"International law firm Addleshaw Goddard advised Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL) on the completion of CMAL’s purchase of Ardrossan Harbour from Peel Ports Group on behalf of the Scottish Government. The deal transfers the full harbour area — including the Arran and Irish berths, linkspans, car park, marshalling area, part of the boatyard land and the approach road — and is intended to secure Ardrossan as the principal mainland port for CalMac ferry services to Arran. CMAL said it will begin community consultation on future use and improvements, with full redevelopment plans to follow planning and stakeholder engagement."
