BCLP appoints Claibourne Harrison as Real Estate partner in London

Claibourne Harrison will join international law firm BCLP as a partner in the Real Estate team in London from Monday, 9 March. Harrison’s practice focuses on real estate private equity, venture capital and growth investment transactions. He represents private equity and investment firms, corporates and other institutional investors across the UK, Europe and the United States on acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, majority‑control and minority investments, divestitures, carve‑outs and loan portfolio acquisitions. Dual‑qualified in England & Wales and in Texas, Harrison regularly advises on complex cross‑border transactions at the intersection of private equity and real estate. His experience spans a wide range of asset classes, including commercial, industrial, logistics, mixed‑use and digital infrastructure. He joins BCLP from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he was a partner. Harrison is recommended by The Legal 500 UK 2024 as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ for Real Estate: Commercial Property – Investment and is also recognised for Real Estate: Property Finance; he has been ranked by The Legal 500 UK each year since 2018 and is featured in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom for Real Estate Law.
