Russo De Rosa advised family office Agen on the acquisition of the Rocca d'Olgisio, while the historic owner was assisted by external counsel Mauro Paladini and Alessandro Candido. The transaction was structured as an asset deal and encompassed the real estate complex of the Rocca d'Olgisio and the extensive surrounding woodland. The sale also included the transfer of historic goods and works of art located within the complex. The Rocca, a fortified site dating from around the year 1000 and formerly in the possession of the Dal Verme family, occupies a commanding position between the Val Tidone and the Val Chiarone. The property is subject to restrictions under the Italian Consolidated Code on Cultural Heritage and Landscape and is regarded as one of the oldest and most evocative fortresses in the Piacenza area. The complex contains medieval elements alongside modern artworks, reflecting the site's historical and cultural stratifications, and the adjacent forested area forms an integral part of its landscape and cultural value.
