Sarah Lahlou-Amine has joined Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as a shareholder in Washington, DC. Lahlou-Amine is a seasoned appellate advocate and litigation strategist representing clients in complex litigation. She joins the firm’s litigation and appellate practice as a shareholder, working on bet-the-company cases, class actions and appeals with a focus on early case assessment, issue preservation, dispositive motion practice and appellate positioning. Her practice encompasses commercial disputes, products liability, business torts, consumer protection, transportation, privacy and cybersecurity, insurance coverage, and other high-stakes matters presenting significant business, regulatory and reputational risk. She also maintains an active amicus practice in state and federal appellate courts and the U.S. Supreme Court and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). Prior to joining Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Lahlou-Amine served as Director of the Pro Bono Institute Law Firm Pro Bono Project, providing consulting services to Am Law 200 firms worldwide and directly representing pro bono clients in matters including criminal, civil rights, housing, veterans, dependency and domestic violence. She has frequently been engaged to provide second-opinion case evaluations and to collaborate with trial teams to shape legal narratives and align litigation strategies with clients’ risk tolerance and business objectives.
