BonelliErede and Brandstätter Advise on €7 Million Late-Seed Round for Sinergy Flow

BonelliErede advised Sinergy Flow and Brandstätter advised CDP Venture Capital SGR in the transaction; CDP Venture Capital SGR’s in-house legal team also handled legal aspects and FM Notai managed the notarial deeds. Sinergy Flow, a deeptech startup that develops innovative long-duration energy storage solutions, has closed a late-seed financing round of €7 million. The round was led by CDP Venture Capital SGR through Fondo Corporate Partners I – Comparto EnergyTech and the Green Transition Fund – PNRR, with participation from the European investment vehicle 360 Capital, Tech4Planet, Polo Nazionale di Trasferimento Tecnologico per la Sostenibilità (promoted and launched by CDP Venture Capital SGR through the Fondo Technology Transfer) and Exergon, a Paris-based venture capital fund focused on energy transition solutions. BonelliErede represented Sinergy Flow with a team composed by: partner Giulia Bianchi Frangipane, managing associate Enrico Goitre and associate Elena Cozzupoli. Brandstätter represented CDP Venture Capital SGR with a team composed by: Florian Brandstätter and Thomas Tiefenbrunner. CDP Venture Capital SGR represented itself in the legal aspects of the transaction with a team composed by: general counsel Alessandro di Gioia (team lead), Matteo Fittante (head of legal affairs - SPV and PNRR Investments), Marco Filanti and Benedetta Sfoglietta.
