Gibson Dunn Advises Thmanyah on Media Rights Agreement with Saudi Professional League, Saudi Arabian Football Federation and First Division League

"Gibson Dunn advised Thmanyah Publishing and Distribution Company (a subsidiary of Saudi Research and Media Group) on a six-year (2025-2031) exclusive media rights and commercial exploitation agreement across the Middle East and North Africa for the King’s Cup, Saudi Pro League, Saudi Super Cup and First Division League. The transaction is valued at SAR 2,320,000,000 (approx. $619m)."

Gibson Dunn advised Thmanyah Publishing and Distribution Company, a subsidiary of the Saudi Research and Media Group, in connection with a media rights agreement with the Saudi Professional League, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and the First Division League. The agreement grants Thmanyah exclusive broadcasting rights and commercial exploitation across the Middle East and North Africa for four tournaments: the King’s Cup, the Saudi Pro League, the Saudi Super Cup and the First Division League. The rights are granted for a six-year term covering 2025-2031. The transaction is valued at SAR 2,320,000,000 (approximately $619 million USD).
