Freshfields Advises TPG Real Estate on €400 Million European Healthcare Portfolio Acquisition

Freshfields advised TPG Real Estate Partners on its acquisition of a European healthcare real estate portfolio from Canada’s Northwest Healthcare Properties Real Estate Investment Trust. The transaction concerns the acquisition of a real estate portfolio for approximately €400 million before adjustments. It is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The medical office and clinic portfolio, marketed as Project Nightingale, comprises some 30 assets located in Germany and the Netherlands, including two properties with development potential. The collection totals 180,917 square metres and has more than 400 tenants.
