"Telia and Brookfield are jointly acquiring CapMan Infra’s stake in Valokuitunen. After the transaction Telia will hold 49% and Brookfield (via Brookfield Infrastructure Structured Solutions) 51%. Valokuitunen, founded in 2020 as a Telia–CapMan JV, is Finland’s leading FTTH operator, serving 400,000+ homes in over 100 municipalities through an open‑access network. The deal supports Telia’s Nordic/Baltic connectivity strategy, builds on its existing partnership with Brookfield, and is subject to regulatory approvals with closing expected in Q2 2026. Law firm Roschier advised Telia."

Roschier acted as legal adviser to Telia Company AB in the transaction (no other law firms were named in the press release). The transaction is a joint acquisition by Telia and Brookfield of CapMan Infra’s stake in Valokuitunen, Finland’s leading fiber‑to‑the‑home (FTTH) operator.
