Eversheds Sutherland Advises Superhuman on Acquisition of AI Spreadsheet Startup Rows

Eversheds Sutherland advised San Francisco-based Superhuman on its acquisition of Rows, a Porto-based startup. The transaction concerns the acquisition of Rows, a company that developed an AI-powered spreadsheet platform. Rows offers solutions that simplify advanced data work through real-time integrations, no-code natural language automations, and an AI-based data analyst integrated into the user experience. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Superhuman’s strategy—known for products such as Grammarly and Coda—of building an AI-driven productivity platform for applications and agents, while accelerating its product roadmap and consolidating its engineering and innovation team.
