Law firms advise on Autoconnexa's more than €6 million funding round

Pavia e Ansaldo and Studio Legale Meliadò advised lead investor Lumen II; Studio Piselli & Partners advised CDP Venture Capital; and LEXIA advised Autoconnexa. Autoconnexa, an Italian insurtech startup developing technology to personalise motor liability (RC Auto) policies through sensors and proprietary AI algorithms, completed a capital increase of €4.4 million. Combined with SAFE instruments placed at the beginning of 2025, the transaction brings the total amount raised to more than €6 million. The capital increase will enable the company to strengthen its position as a distribution partner in the motor liability sector and to accelerate development of its proprietary SmartBox technology and the Drive Connexa app, tools designed to profile drivers' risk based on driving style while promoting road safety and environmental sustainability. The operation saw participation from, among others, the Lumen II fund as lead investor, CDP Venture Capital, Crédit Agricole Italia, members of the Club degli Investitori and investors already involved in the prior SAFE round.
