Bird & Bird Advises Radiant on €2 Million Fundraising to Launch Commercialisation of Solar Concentration Technology

"Bird & Bird advised Radiant on a €2 million fundraising round from Hexa’s Carbone Zero acceleration programme and business angels to commercialise its solar concentration technology. Radiant (formerly Neamine), founded in 2024, plans a first demonstrator by 2026 for industrial heat production and thermal storage."

Bird & Bird advised Radiant in its €2 million fundraising round; investors include Hexa’s Carbone Zero acceleration programme and a group of business angels. The fundraising was raised to launch the commercialisation of Radiant’s solar concentration technology. Radiant is a French startup focused on large-scale decarbonisation of industrial heat. The new financing will support the company’s plans to develop and commercialise its concentrating solar solution for industrial applications. Radiant’s technology uses a new generation of heliostats to concentrate solar radiation onto a receiver capable of exceeding 1,000°C, coupled with a thermal storage module to provide continuous heat supply. The company, formerly known as Neamine and founded in 2024 by two engineers, intends to complete a first demonstrator of this solar concentration and thermal storage system by 2026, a key milestone towards commercial deployment. Bird & Bird represented Radiant with a team composed by: Félicien Bardsley, partner, Corporate; Hugo Vallespi, associate, Corporate.
