Stibbe acted as Belgian counsel to Vinar NV in the sale of the Bullet energy drinks brand and related portfolio to EnJOYBEV. The transaction was structured as an asset carve‑out pursuant to which the Bullet brand and the associated business were transferred to EnJOYBEV. Following completion, Champion Breweries holds an 80% majority stake in EnJOYBEV, while Vinar has reinvested and retains a 20% minority participation. Bullet is one of Africa’s fastest‑growing ready‑to‑drink (RTD) energy and alcoholic beverage portfolios, with a footprint across multiple African markets. The transaction marks EnJOYBEV’s strategic expansion into the energy drinks segment and strengthens the company for further growth across the continent. Stibbe represented Vinar NV with a team composed by: Stefan Odeurs and Immanuel Claessens, who led the deal from Brussels, with support from Dutch colleagues IJsbrand van Straten, Amber Woldring and Maurits van Maanen.
