Dentons advises Citibank, Emirates NBD and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank on €300 million Murabaha financing for Hayat Kimya

The Sharia‑compliant facility supports the group’s funding requirements and Dentons’ Istanbul office provided Turkish law support."

Dentons advised Citibank N.A., Emirates NBD Bank PJSC and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC in relation to a €300 million Islamic financing made available to Hayat Kimya Sanayi A.Ş. The transaction was structured as an AAOIFI‑compliant commodity Murabaha facility. The financing supports the group’s funding requirements through a Sharia‑compliant structure aligned with established Murabaha market standards. Dentons’ Istanbul office provided Turkish law support on the transaction. Dentons represented Citibank N.A., Emirates NBD Bank PJSC and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC with a team composed by: Nathaniel Armstrong, Abu Dhabi Managing Partner; senior associate Shaakir Daud; and associate Najeeb Gill.
