On March 1, 2026, commercial criminal lawyer Wolfgang Prinzenberg will join Schalast Law | Tax as Of Counsel. Wolfgang Prinzenberg has for decades advised and defended individuals and board members in complex commercial criminal law proceedings in Germany and abroad. He has been active in various renowned entities and has accompanied numerous complex and high-profile proceedings. His practice focuses on proceedings in connection with the financial market crisis, cum-ex issues, parliamentary committees of inquiry, embargo violations in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, compliance issues, and medical criminal law. At Schalast, Prinzenberg will support the expansion of the Economic and Tax Criminal Law Practice Group, which was founded last year by Practice Group Leader Myra-Anne Bücher and includes Of Counsel Prof. Dr. Eva Kohler and Counsel Janna Schulze. In this role he will deepen the interfaces with related areas such as corporate law and banking & finance.
