EY and Ortego & Cameno advise on Aviko's acquisition of major stake in Euro Frits

"EY Abogados advised Aviko (Royal Cosun) and Ortego & Cameno Abogados advised sellers Valmiera Capital on Aviko’s acquisition of a major stake in Spanish frozen snackables specialist Euro Frits. The transaction is intended to strengthen Aviko’s position in the plant‑based snackables segment."

EY Abogados advised Aviko, part of the Royal Cosun group, while Ortego & Cameno Abogados advised the sellers, Valmiera Capital, in the transaction. The transaction involved Aviko’s purchase of a major stake in Spanish frozen snackables specialist Euro Frits from Valmiera Capital. With the acquisition, Aviko intends to strengthen its position in the plant‑based snackables segment. EY Abogados supported Aviko with legal, tax and labour services throughout the operation, both during the due diligence stage and in the acquisition.
