Homburger advises UBS Switzerland on EUR 1.5 billion covered bond issuance

The transaction comprised an issuance of EUR 1.5 billion in aggregate amount of fixed-rate covered bonds issued under UBS Switzerland’s Covered Bond Programme. The notes were governed by Swiss law and listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. The covered bonds are indirectly backed by a portfolio of mortgages drawn from UBS Switzerland’s domestic mortgage pool.
