KKR-Owned OSTTRA Secures Strategic Equity Investment from Consortium of Global Banks

Paul Weiss advised leading global investment firm KKR in connection with OSTTRA on a strategic equity investment by Bank of America, Barclays, Citi, HSBC, UBS Investment Bank and Wells Fargo. OSTTRA, a global post-trade solutions provider owned by KKR-managed funds, has agreed to a strategic equity investment from a consortium of major global banks. Under the agreement, the KKR-managed funds will continue as OSTTRA’s majority owner. The participating banks will take equity positions intended to support and help drive the company’s expansion into new markets and asset classes. Paul Weiss represented KKR and its KKR-managed funds with a team composed by: partners Victoria Forrester and Robert Killip, and tax counsel Patrick Fasoro.
