Cooley Advises Uber on Wayve’s $1.5 Billion Financing

"Cooley advised Uber Technologies on its strategic partnership and investment in Wayve’s $1.5 billion Series D financing. Uber invested in the round and will provide additional milestone‑based capital to support multiyear deployments of Wayve‑powered robotaxis on the Uber platform, with plans to expand to over 10 markets."

Cooley represented Uber Technologies in connection with Uber’s strategic partnership and investment in Wayve. Under the agreement, Uber invested in Wayve’s Series D financing round. As part of this strategic partnership, Uber will also invest additional milestone‑based capital to support multiyear deployments of Wayve‑powered robotaxis on the Uber platform. The partnership contemplates multiyear deployments with plans to scale Wayve‑powered robotaxis to more than 10 markets globally.
