Renate Prinz joins Annerton as Equity Partner

Prinz will co-lead Annerton’s Frankfurt office alongside Sebastian Glaab. She joins Annerton from McDermott Will & Schulte LLP and will assume the senior role of Equity Partner.
Renate Prinz is an expert in banking supervisory law, corporate law and M&A, compliance, and all areas of financial and financial services regulation, including the supervision of investment firms. Prior to joining Annerton, she spent many years at the international law firms Linklaters LLP and McDermott Will & Schulte LLP, advising banks, financial services providers and other regulated companies on complex transformation projects, M&A transactions, licensing and qualifying holdings procedures, Brexit, deposit guarantee schemes and fundamental regulatory matters.
Prinz regularly publishes in professional journals on regulatory and corporate law topics and is an author in the Crypto-Assets Commentary (Kalss / Krönke / Völkel) published by C.H. Beck, contributing on the licensing procedure for crypto-asset service providers under the MiCA regulation.
