Blake Morgan appoints Ruth Gingell as Business Development Manager for Wales

Gingell joins Blake Morgan from law firm Pinsent Masons, bringing 14 years of business development experience. At Pinsent Masons she most recently led business development initiatives for the Retail, Sport and Leisure sectors across multiple international jurisdictions.
At Blake Morgan she will focus on business development opportunities across Wales and will also support the firm’s Corporate and Employment practice areas firmwide.
During her time at Pinsent Masons, Gingell developed expertise across pensions, employment, regulatory and corporate law, working with major retailers, universities, public sector organisations and sports clients. Her notable achievements include collaborating with the Pensions Policy Institute on research into behavioural biases in pension saving, identifying barriers to engagement and helping providers address those challenges.
Gingell’s international experience across multiple jurisdictions and cultures, and her collaborative approach to bringing together teams across practice areas, are cited as attributes she will bring to Blake Morgan’s clients. Outside her professional role, she has served as a School Governor at Llanishen Fach Primary School in Cardiff since November 2023.
