Greenberg Traurig Adds Anthony Bagnuola as Shareholder in Long Island Litigation Practice
"Anthony Bagnuola joins Greenberg Traurig as a shareholder in its Long Island Litigation Practice, focusing on commercial litigation, government investigations, regulatory matters and white-collar defense."
Bagnuola is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of New York, where he spent more than seven years and was promoted to deputy chief for criminal appeals and then senior trial counsel in the criminal division. A highly experienced first‑chair trial and appellate litigator, he spearheaded convictions in multiple prominent and complex trials and has supervised attorney teams across all phases of complex litigation. Earlier in his career he worked in the litigation departments of an international law firm and multiple mid‑market firms, representing clients in government and regulatory matters and a range of commercial disputes, and he served twice as a federal law clerk in the Eastern District.
At Greenberg Traurig, Bagnuola will focus on commercial litigation, government investigations, regulatory matters and white‑collar criminal defense. He joins the firm as a shareholder, bringing his trial, appellate and investigative experience to the Long Island Litigation Practice.
Bagnuola is the third recent hire for Greenberg Traurig’s Long Island office, following the addition of Associates John L. Bourquin IV and Jamie Rothman Agman in 2025.
