Greenberg Traurig Adds Justin J.L. Brooks as Litigation Associate in Boston

"Greenberg Traurig has added Justin J.L. Brooks to its Boston Litigation Practice as an associate. He joins from the Committee for Public Counsel Services and brings federal appellate clerkship and public defense experience."

Justin J.L. Brooks has joined Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Boston office as an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice.

Brooks represents clients in litigation and brings experience from federal court clerkships and public defense work. He previously served as a staff attorney in the Committee for Public Counsel Services’ Trial Division, where he represented indigent criminal defendants. He also completed judicial clerkships with Judge Eunice C. Lee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge James E. Graves Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, gaining experience in federal appellate procedure. Brooks has handled suppression motions, motions to dismiss, and witness examinations. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, an A.M. in government from Harvard University, and a B.A. from Morehouse College.
