Gonzalo Navarro Ruiz joins Crowe as partner in Spain

Gonzalo has extensive experience advising on financial regulatory matters, working with financial institutions and investment funds. His work covers a wide range of regulatory issues and proceedings, as well as interactions with supervisory authorities. He also advises companies on access to capital markets and on raising financing through new structures, including the issuance of tokenised financial instruments.
He joins Crowe from Ontier, where he led the firm’s practice in financial regulation and capital markets. Earlier in his career he spent nine years as a financial regulatory lawyer at Bolsas y Mercados Españoles Group. He subsequently played a key role in obtaining regulatory authorisation for Portfolio Stock Exchange, serving there for three years as legal and compliance director and data protection officer.
