Ontier hires Lojayne Shaheen as partner in its Middle East practice
"Ontier has hired Lojayne Shaheen as a partner in its Middle East team; she will work in dispute resolution and international arbitration."
Shaheen joins Ontier from Freshfields in Saudi Arabia. She brings experience in dispute resolution and international arbitration and will work closely with Kamal Khashoggi, representing the firm in the territory and jointly leading the development of the regional strategy to promote a strong and long-term presence. She will also actively contribute to the growth of the International Arbitration practice led by Mercedes Romero, in collaboration with the London office headed by Claire Morel de Westgaver.
Javier Muñoz, Ontier’s international director, emphasized that Shaheen’s addition reinforces two key pillars of the firm’s strategy: the Middle East and International Arbitration, and underlines the firm’s aim to build a strong project in Saudi Arabia supported by top-tier talent and a robust arbitration practice, positioning Ontier as a reference regionally and internationally.
