Auren appoints Óscar Padial as partner in Auren Tech Information Security
"Auren appoints Óscar Padial as partner in Auren Tech to lead IT and digital forensics within its Information Security practice."
Padial holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering (Telematics specialisation) from the Alcoy Higher Polytechnic School and is a certified forensic expert in digital forensics, registered on the official list of court-appointed experts of the Valencian Association of Telecommunications Technical Engineers. He has postgraduate training including master’s degrees in Corporate Networks and Systems Integration (Cisco Systems), Cybersecurity from the American University of Europe (UNADE), and Cyber Intelligence from Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV). Over the course of his career he has accumulated more than ten years of experience in judicial interventions, technological expert evidence and cybersecurity projects as a computer forensics expert.
Prior to joining Auren, Padial served as director of forensic and digital forensics at INVACI (Valencian Institute of Cybersecurity and Telematics). For the past 15 years he has also headed the Information Systems Department at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.
In his new role as partner, Padial will lead the development of IT forensic and digital forensics services. Auren said the appointment is aligned with its strategy to strengthen cybersecurity, incident response, technology-related litigation and information protection in coordination with the firm's legal and forensic teams. Mario Alonso, president of Auren, described the move as consistent with the firm's growth in high value-added integrated services, while Josep Cuñat, partner at Auren Tech, highlighted Padial’s experience in judicial proceedings, internal investigations and complex incident response as complementary to Auren Forensic.
