Luis Suárez de Centi Martínez joins Eversheds Sutherland as tax partner

Luis Suárez de Centi is a tax lawyer with extensive international experience advising large business groups, private equity funds and high net worth individuals. He specialises in international taxation, providing advice on complex real estate transactions, the tax and corporate aspects of international M&A, the restructuring of business and family groups—particularly in Spain and Latin America—and tax planning for cross-border investments. He has also advised on tax inspections and litigation and regularly counsels high net worth individuals and family groups on tax planning of investments in Spain and on international transfers of residence.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland as partner, Suárez de Centi developed his career at Uría Menéndez, where he was head of the tax department at the New York office between 2018 and 2024. In that role he led tax advice for clients with interests in the United States, Europe and Latin America, consolidating his international profile and specialisation in complex cross-border transactions and international taxation.
Eversheds Sutherland’s tax department now comprises two partners, one counsel, two associates and one trainee.
