Córdoba is a magistrate specialising in commercial law with more than 20 years of experience in the judiciary. She has developed a distinguished career in commercial, corporate, financial, intellectual and industrial property litigation, unfair competition and, in particular, restructuring, insolvency and corporate governance. She will join DLA Piper at the counsel level.
Córdoba has presided over commercial courts in Madrid and Barcelona and held a confirmation rate of over 90%. She comes from the judiciary, where she served in these judicial roles, and has participated in pioneering projects for the modernisation of the Spanish justice system, coordinating the approval of judicial protocols and best practice guidelines that have enhanced legal certainty and efficiency in complex situations.
DLA Piper partners have highlighted her deep knowledge of civil and commercial law, her ability to design creative dispute resolution strategies and her experience in restructuring plans and complex insolvency proceedings as assets that will strengthen the firm’s capabilities and market position.
