Bret Busacker Joins Dorsey & Whitney LLP as Benefits & Compensation Partner in Boise

Bret represents private and public businesses on corporate, governance and employee benefits matters. He has significant experience addressing complex employee benefits issues across a variety of industries. His subject-matter expertise includes health and welfare plans; qualified and nonqualified plans; cash and equity-based compensation arrangements; and benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions. In advising on these arrangements, Bret counsels HR executives, boards of directors, compensation committees and benefits committees.
Bret joins Dorsey from Holland & Hart, where he was a Partner. He joins Dorsey as a Partner in the Benefits & Compensation group in Boise. Bret holds a J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, an M.B.A. from Washington State University and a B.A. from Brigham Young University.
