Solving appoints Claudio Giammarino as partner to bolster M&A in emerging markets
"Solving appoints partner Claudio Giammarino to its Corporate, Commercial and M&A practice to strengthen cross-border M&A with a focus on emerging markets."
Giammarino, 43, is founder of Studio Legale Giammarino and has served as co-head of the China Desk at Dentons. He brings 18 years of experience between Italy and China, specialising in M&A with a strong international and emerging markets focus. His work has involved advising Chinese investors on transactions in Europe and assisting Italian and international groups on operations towards Asia, with interventions in key sectors such as oil & gas and manufacturing. Among his professional engagements, he coordinated the international advisers who analysed the transactional aspects of the “Eni Nigeria” criminal proceedings, which concluded with the definitive acquittal of all defendants.
Giammarino’s arrival further qualifies Solving’s Corporate, Commercial and M&A practice, developed since the firm’s founding by partners Annalisa Pescatori and Roberto Limitone, which advises industrial groups, funds and investors on domestic and cross-border extraordinary transactions.
Maddalena Boffoli, president of Solving, said Giammarino’s experience in cross-border M&A and his deep knowledge of emerging markets will enrich the firm’s offering in strategic sectors and support Solving’s ongoing qualitative expansion and commitment to integrated, multidisciplinary legal and tax advice.
