L&B Partners Avvocati Associati strengthens Tax Department with Ottavia Alfano and seven professionals
"L&B Partners Avvocati Associati expands its Tax practice with partner Ottavia Alfano and seven professionals, who will work on corporate and international tax, structured finance, M&A-related taxation and tax litigation."
Ottavia Alfano joins L&B Partners as partner and head of the Tax Department. She brings consolidated experience in tax law with a particular focus on corporate taxation, international tax and structured finance in M&A, leverage buy-outs and corporate reorganizations for major Italian and international private equity funds, multinational groups, family offices and private clients. She has also developed significant experience in tax litigation and in relations with the Tax Authorities.
Paolo Ruggiero joins the firm as partner. He advises multinational groups and investment funds on tax matters, with particular focus on international taxation, transfer pricing and cross-border transactions.
Matteo Mairone joins L&B Partners as counsel. Andrea Cristiani joins as managing associate. Maria Gabriella Terracciano, Federico Levi and Filippo Maria Mariani join as associates, and Marco Marinelli joins as junior associate.
The incoming team covers a broad range of tax competencies and seniority, enabling the firm to handle complex tax issues and to integrate tax advice with the studio’s other practices. Their arrival follows the launch of the Tax Department in July 2025, which began with a first team led by partner Grazia Carbone, head of the Tax Energy division, and composed of senior associate Luigi Colucci and junior associate Andrea Zamparese, a team also operative in Rome with a national presence.
With these additions, L&B Partners Avvocati Associati consolidates its Tax practice and now counts 42 professionals, including 11 partners.
Michele Di Terlizzi, managing partner of L&B Partners Avvocati Associati, commented that the strengthening of the Tax Department represents a key step in the firm’s growth, confirming the firm’s development strategy and its commitment to offering clients high-level specialist expertise in an increasingly complex and integrated context.
