Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Adds Corporate Shareholder in Chicago

Howze focuses his corporate law practice on guiding clients through mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, joint ventures, entity formation and corporate governance, as well as other business matters. He serves as outside counsel to clients across a range of industries, including technology/AI, food and beverage, life sciences, real estate and cannabis.
Howze joins Buchanan as a shareholder and is recognized within the legal community for his work. His honors include selection to The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in Illinois (2022); recognition since 2022 as a The Best Lawyers in America Ones to Watch in Corporate Law; listing as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2024 and 2025; the Cook County Bar Association Next Generation Award (2024); and Law Bulletin Media’s Emerging Lawyers awards in 2024 in the categories of Cannabis Law, Closely & Privately Held Business Law, Mergers & Acquisitions Law and Securities & Venture Law.
