Pechette focuses on sophisticated healthcare technology-based transactions with an emphasis on information technology, data privacy and cybersecurity, and intellectual property law matters. She brings more than 20 years of experience representing clients ranging from start-ups and emerging growth companies to health systems and multinational Fortune 500 companies, including providers of software, hardware, cloud computing platforms, online advertising, search engine technology, artificial intelligence and other advanced technology products and solutions.
She joins Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as a shareholder from her prior role as division general counsel at a global transformational medical technology company. Pechette has negotiated numerous technology transactions worldwide—primarily licensing, cloud computing, data use and content development and licensing, reseller arrangements, software development, strategic alliances and acquisitions—and has substantial intellectual property experience, including IP due diligence, creation, protection and licensing.
