Sackers appoints John Card to project management team
"Sackers appoints John Card as a project manager in its project management team to work on DB pensions and project delivery."
John Card brings extensive defined benefit (DB) pensions and project experience accumulated over 20 years in pensions administration, pensions analyst and operations roles. He joins Sackers as a project manager, having worked at Equiniti and, most recently, Just Group.
Derek Obeng joined Sackers in 2025 as a project manager. He has more than eight years’ experience across defined contribution (DC) pensions, master trust and employee benefits from roles at Fidelity, Smart Pensions and Benifex.
Elizabeth Nolan, Head of Project Management, said the recruitment of John and Derek demonstrates the further development of the project management team and the firm’s commitment to improving services. Senior partner David Saunders commented that the experience both individuals bring will help Sackers deliver the high level of service clients expect.
