A&L Goodbody appoints Dervla Broderick as partner in EU, Competition & Procurement

With approaching 20 years’ experience, Broderick has worked in international law firms in the UK and Ireland advising clients on Irish, EU and UK competition law. She specialises in a range of antitrust matters, including merger control, foreign direct investment, foreign subsidies regulation, investigations and cartel issues. She joins A&L Goodbody as a partner.
Broderick also served as Deputy Director of Competition Enforcement and Mergers at the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) in Ireland. In that role she led investigations of significant civil competition enforcement cases and contributed to the development of the Competition Act 2022.
