Baker Tilly Appoints 12 New Directors

"Baker Tilly appoints 12 new Directors across its Audit & Advisory, Tax and Legal practices, strengthening teams in tax advisory, audit, corporate tax, transaction advisory and litigation."

Baker Tilly has promoted twelve colleagues to the position of Director: Paolo Aulisio, Lilia Bornemann, Bernd Conrad, Stefanie Hartmann, Kerstin Jarsch, Frédéric Jules Lingier, Jana Lübben, Daniel Ninnemann, Marco Pampanin, Sabrina Rettenmayr, Patrick Schmarje, and Paul Zimdahl.

Paolo Aulisio, promoted to Director, is a Tax Advisor based in Stuttgart who joined Baker Tilly in January 2023 from a Big Four firm. His work focuses on tax consulting for national and international companies, tax compliance and the preparation of annual financial statements; he also supports multinational companies with tax accounting.

Lilia Bornemann, promoted to Director, is a Certified Fraud Manager (CFM) based in Hamburg since 2023. She advises medium-sized production, trade and service companies as well as financial services providers, performing IT and process audits in annual audits and system migration projects (IDW PS 850), and developing and conducting data analyses with an emphasis on accounting.

Bernd Conrad, promoted to Director, is an Attorney-at-law based in Düsseldorf. Active in Corporate / M&A since 2013, he has accompanied numerous national and international transactions and projects and is a recognized expert in national and cross-border transformation law and in post-M&A disputes and litigation.

Stefanie Hartmann, promoted to Director, is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Advisor with Baker Tilly since 2002 and part of the Hamburg team. She primarily supports clients from the industrial and trade sectors as well as investment funds and fund managers, focusing on auditing annual and consolidated financial statements under national (HGB) and international (IFRS) standards.

Kerstin Jarsch, promoted to Director, is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Advisor based in Munich since 1998 with extensive experience in Corporate Tax. She advises medium-sized companies, particularly German subsidiaries of international groups, with a focus on comprehensive tax support for corporations in the software industry.

Frédéric Jules Lingier, promoted to Director, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) who joined Baker Tilly in Düsseldorf in 2023. He brings experience in private equity, financial services, automotive and renewables, working primarily in transaction advisory and business valuation.

Jana Lübben, promoted to Director, is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Advisor based in Hamburg since 2005. She audits companies in retail and distribution, service, maritime, catering and logistics sectors; her work covers auditing annual and consolidated financial statements and providing audit-related advisory services to medium-sized companies nationally and internationally. She is also a member of the examination board for the Certified Public Accountant exam and the Fachwirt Wirtschaftsprüfung.

Daniel Ninnemann, promoted to Director, is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Advisor who began his career at Baker Tilly in Munich more than ten years ago. He primarily works on group audits under IFRS for corporate groups in the PIE segment and has particular experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech, mechanical engineering, and mail-order sectors.

Marco Pampanin, promoted to Director, has been part of the Corporate Tax Team in Munich since October 2013. A Tax Advisor and Specialist Advisor for International Tax Law, his expertise covers group taxation and corporate tax law, including compliance services and structuring advice for internationally active medium-sized corporate groups and publicly listed clients in inbound and outbound matters.

Sabrina Rettenmayr, promoted to Director, is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Advisor in Munich with more than 15 years of experience auditing annual and consolidated financial statements under commercial law and IFRS. She supports national and international companies in media, manufacturing, trade and software services and is actively involved in colleague training and the organisation of Baker Tilly Career Days in Munich.

Patrick Schmarje, promoted to Director, is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Advisor working in Hamburg with more than 13 years of experience auditing financial institutions, financial service providers, insurance companies and pension funds. Since 2024 he has been part of the National Office, where he is primarily responsible for technical oversight of financial services, A&A quality management and cooperation projects with the Freier Genossenschaftsverband (FGV).

Paul Zimdahl, promoted to Director, is an Attorney-at-law with Baker Tilly in Leipzig since 2021 and part of the Munich litigation team. His advisory focus is on out-of-court dispute resolution and litigation in national and international proceedings before state courts and arbitral tribunals, advising and representing clients in complex and technically oriented matters, particularly post-M&A disputes, shareholder conflicts and liability cases.
