Eubelius appoints Robin Meylemans as counsel
"Eubelius promotes Robin Meylemans to counsel in its Public Law team; he specialises in government contracts and disputes and maintains a broad practice across public, private and judicial law."
Meylemans joined Eubelius in 2016 immediately after completing his studies and has worked as a solicitor for almost ten years. Within the firm’s Public Law team he has deliberately developed a broad practice, with a focus on government contracts and disputes. He also works across private and judicial law, a range he says keeps his work stimulating and enables him to devise solutions that transcend a single legal framework.
The promotion to counsel is described by the firm as a vote of confidence and a confirmation of Meylemans’s professional growth. He views the move from senior attorney to counsel as the result of sustained effort and integration within the team. In his new role he expects to be increasingly involved in strategic decision-making, coordination and review work, while continuing to handle judicial matters and to consult with clients and oversee the quality of team outputs.
Meylemans notes a general increase in regulation that complicates clients’ decision-making; he sees the firm’s role increasingly as one of informing clients and helping them navigate the growing body of rules.
