Robbins joins Crowell & Moring from Buchalter, where he served as co-chair of the White Collar and Government Investigations practice. Prior to private practice, he was an assistant U.S. attorney in the Central District of California, prosecuting complex crime, white collar, and health care fraud matters, including leading the investigation and prosecution of hospital executives and physicians in a high-profile kickback case involving spinal surgeries at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach.
An experienced trial attorney, Robbins represents businesses and individuals in the life sciences, technology, and financial industries in cases involving allegations of fraud, kickbacks, unfair competition, and related issues. He has first-chaired dozens of trials to verdict or arbitration award and has led dozens of appeals in both civil and criminal matters on issues including antitrust, patent, health care fraud, and technology licensing. At Crowell & Moring, he will practice as a partner focusing on civil litigation and affirmative recovery fraud cases, with an emphasis on the health care and life sciences industries.
