SRS Legal strengthens corporate & finance team with partner Miguel Koch Rua and associate Eduarda Alves da Costa

Miguel Koch Rua brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial and corporate law, M&A, corporate governance, international contracts and transport law. He has taken part in several foreign direct investment processes in the automotive, food distribution, information technology, tourism and real estate sectors, and has worked on corporate restructurings. He is also a guest lecturer at Porto Business School on the postgraduate programme in project management. He joins SRS Legal from Deloitte Legal.
Eduarda Alves da Costa has experience in commercial and corporate law and M&A, advising national and international clients at different stages of their investment projects and business development. She holds a master’s degree in company and business law from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica do Porto. She joins SRS Legal from Deloitte Legal as an associate.
Managing partners César Sá Esteves and Octávio Castelo Paulo said the arrival of Miguel and Eduarda reflects the firm’s commitment to teams with strong experience in supporting complex corporate transactions. They added that the recruitment, still in 2025, of associates Miguel Marques Rocha (tax), Henrique Varino da Silva (real estate) and Matilde Pereira Gouveia (administrative and environment) reflects a strategy of sustained growth and continuous reinforcement of the firm’s key practice areas.
