Clark Hill Names Linda Watson Its Inaugural Chief Growth Officer

Watson, a longtime Executive Committee member and litigation practice leader who joined Clark Hill in 2007, is specifically tasked with charting a strategic path for sustainable revenue and profitability growth, attracting and retaining outstanding professional talent, and advising on technological enhancements. The Chief Growth Officer role will work closely with the firm’s Chief Executive Officer to identify potential revenue channels, create operational efficiencies and strengthen talent retention and training practices.
Watson previously co-led the firm’s Litigation Business Unit and will continue to lead Clark Hill’s Automotive and Manufacturing industry group. She has served multiple terms on the firm’s Executive Committee.
As a practicing litigator, Watson has received multiple local honors, being named a “Top” and “Notable” lawyer by Michigan area publications. She completed Stanford University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate Program and is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Leading Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Certification Program, earning her DEI certification in 2020. Watson also graduated from the National Trial Institute for Trial Advocacy. She holds an undergraduate degree from Oakland University and a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law.
