Kemal Ahmedi is promoted to partner. He has been with Annerton since its founding and helped establish the firm’s Berlin office, developing from a young professional into a partner with in-depth expertise in crypto. His strengths as a trainer are noted. As partner, Ahmedi focuses on the intersection of payment and crypto, and on terms and conditions, contracts, e-commerce and consumer credit law. Based in Berlin, he advises companies in the payment services, credit and finance, and blockchain industries and intends to further expand Annerton’s crypto division and the interface between payment and crypto.
Josefine Spengler is promoted to partner. A specialist lawyer for IT law, she concentrates on regulatory and data protection requirements for IT systems, data processing procedures and digital business models of payment and financial service providers. Based in Berlin, she advises regulated companies in the financial sector as well as their IT and other service providers on regulatory issues such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). Her many years of in-house experience combine regulatory expertise with a keen understanding of practical processes.
