Addleshaw Goddard strengthens Real Estate practice with two senior appointments

Kirsty Black and Hannah Quarterman have joined international law firm Addleshaw Goddard.

Kirsty Black joins AG’s Manchester office from Shoosmiths, where she led the North Real Estate Disputes team. She brings over 20 years of experience advising on complex commercial property disputes with a particular focus on landlord and tenant law. Nationally recognised for her work with leading retailers and ranked a ‘leading partner’ by The Legal 500, Kirsty specialises in contentious property work, including business lease renewals, rent reviews, restrictive covenant issues, rights of occupation, landlord’s consents, dilapidations and service charge disputes.

Hannah Quarterman joins AG’s London office as a Partner in the Planning and Infrastructure Consenting team, arriving from Hogan Lovells where she led the Planning team. With nearly two decades of experience, Hannah is noted for advising leading developers on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and the delivery of complex, multi‑phase developments. Her track record includes involvement in high‑profile projects such as Brent Cross Town, Bishopsgate Goodsyard and major regeneration schemes across London, and she is described as ‘absolutely exceptional’ in The Legal 500.
