Cohen & Gresser has elevated Shannon Aimée Daugherty and Benjamin Zhu to partner at the firm.

Shannon Aimée Daugherty has been promoted to Partner in the New York office. She is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration and White Collar Defense & Regulation practice groups and advises corporations and individuals on internal and government investigations and complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts. Her notable representations include recovering a restitution judgment for victims of a conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, defending clients in Department of Justice investigations, representing domestic and international corporations in breach of contract disputes arising from complex transactions, conducting an internal investigation for the audit committee of a public corporation, and defending an asset management firm in a subsequent transfer action. She also maintains an active pro bono practice. Daugherty has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in business litigation and by The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch in white collar criminal defense.

Benjamin Zhu has been promoted to Partner in the New York office. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration and White Collar Defense & Regulation practice groups and advises companies and individuals on high-stakes commercial disputes, complex mass tort matters, and sensitive government investigations. His notable matters include representing clients in multi-billion-dollar civil litigation, representing institutions in mass torts involving hundreds or thousands of claims, and defending clients in DOJ and SEC investigations. Zhu has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in general litigation and by The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch in white collar criminal defense.
