Pérez-Llorca adds Felipe Suescún de Roa as partner in Colombia

Felipe Suescún de Roa brings more than 20 years of professional experience, with expertise in domestic and international arbitration, dispute resolution and business law. He has participated in arbitrations under various jurisdictions, venues and applicable laws, including Argentina, Colombia, France, Mexico, New York, Switzerland and the Unidroit Principles. He joins Pérez-Llorca as a partner, transiting from Suescún Abogados.
Suescún de Roa holds a law degree and a specialisation in Commercial Law from Universidad de los Andes and an LL.M. from Georgetown University. Academically, he has taught Obligations, Civil Liability and Business Law at Universidad de los Andes, and courses on Arbitration and Corporate Law at the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, Universidad Nacional de Colombia and the Superintendence of Companies. He has been admitted as a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) in London.
