Ellex Promotes Marta Cera to Partner in Latvia
"Ellex has promoted Marta Cera to Partner in its Latvia office; she will continue to co-lead the firm's banking and finance practice across the Baltics."
In her new role Cera will continue to co-lead Ellex’s banking and finance practice group, with responsibility for further developing the practice and strengthening its position in the Baltics.
Cera joined Ellex in 2017 as an Associate and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2020 and to Associate Partner in 2023. Earlier in her career she worked as an Associate at Deloitte Legal from 2016 to 2017 and at PwC Legal from 2013 to 2016.
Liga Merwin, Managing Partner in Latvia, said Cera’s appointment reflects her strong track record and the trust placed in her by clients, noting that her years of experience in banking and finance and her strategic vision make her a valuable addition to the partnership.
